Nexx X.ed 2 Wild Country Helmet

Nexx W.Wed2 is a well-designed adventure/enduro helmet with awesome ventilation and comfort - based on their very popular X.D1 helmet.

Nexx has created a really nice off-road helmet with lots of smart features, designed to improve your riding experience you in different conditions. They have focused very strongly on ventilation in the form of 3 inlets and two exhausts with redesigned angles to optimise the airflow, as well as extra air intake at the chin which helps you keep your head cool while your out in the terrain. The helmet peak is also redesigned and has become adjustable, lightweight and more aerodynamic than its predecessor. It is also strategically placed to create airflow into the helmet and reduce vibration and air resistance at higher speeds.

The outer shell comes in three sizes and is made with Nexx X-Matrix technology that combines 6 different materials including fibreglass, carbon fibre and aramid fibre. The result is a super-strong shell with low weight that can withstand up to 35% higher stress than ordinary fibreglass. The EPS has four different sizes are also designed with extra air ducts to further improve ventilation in the helmet.

The inside of the helmet has a 3D-shaped lining made with Nexx X-Mart Dry technology - a specially treated material that dries twice faster than cotton. The lining is also optimised to allow maximum air circulation and the helmet also has a specially manufactured chin curtain to reduce wind noise and create an extra good fit. The cheek pads are equipped with a so-called Emergency Strap System which allows them to be removed without removing the helmet. This is very useful in an accident as it makes it easier for rescue personnel.

The helmet is also prepared for the Nexx X-Com 2 intercom system.

Other features include integrated sun visor, dust filter at the mouth, double D-ring buckles and an action camera mount.

The helmet weighs about 1,550g (+/- 50g)
